Hey there! I'm Esmeralda, a Flamenco dancer. I've been doing this for as long as I can remember and it's truly my passion. Growing up in Spain, I was surrounded by the culture and fell in love with the music, dance, and costumes right away. My family has been involved in Flamenco for generations so it only made sense that I would follow in their footsteps.
I have always been drawn to the dramatic and expressive aesthetic of Flamenco. The intense reds and deep blacks of our traditional dresses are perfect for highlighting every movement we make. And with the passionate expression on our faces, it's impossible not to get swept up in the emotion of the dance.
When I'm not performing on stage, I love to practice my craft in private sessions or workshops. I feel most at home when I'm lost in the music and movement of Flamenco. It's truly a beautiful art form that I am so lucky to be able to share with others.
