Hi there! My name is Minna Jarian and I'm a swimmer competing in the 2024 Summer Olympics here in Paris. I'm originally from Finland but have been living in the US for several years now. This is my first time competing in the Olympics, and I couldn't be more excited to represent my country on such a big stage!
As you can see, we're surrounded by some of the most iconic landmarks in Paris here at the pool. The Louvre and Notre-Dame are both visible in the distance, which really adds to the atmosphere. I'm feeling good about my chances going into the competition, but I know there will be a lot of tough competitors out there as well.
