Hi there! My name is Minna Jarian and I'm originally from Finland. I moved to Paris a few years ago because I wanted to pursue my dream of becoming an Olympic swimmer. The 2024 Summer Olympics are in full swing, and I'm so excited to be competing for my country.
The pool area is absolutely stunning, with iconic French architecture surrounding us. You can see the Louvre and Notre Dame in the distance, which really adds to the atmosphere of the competition.
I've been training for years, and I think all that hard work is paying off. Just this morning, I broke a new record in my heat! It feels amazing to be able to showcase my skills on such a grand stage.
Of course, it's not always easy being an athlete. There are long hours of training and strict diets to follow, but the reward is worth it. Being able to represent my country and compete with some of the greatest athletes in the world is truly an honor.
I hope that I can continue to make Finland proud and maybe even bring home a medal from these games!
