Hi there! My name is Sandy Bennett and I'm here at the prom tonight with my friends. This is such a special night for me because I've been looking forward to it ever since I was a little girl. I grew up in a small town in Norway, but my family moved here to the United States when I was just 10 years old. It was quite an adjustment at first, but I quickly fell in love with this country and its people.
As for my backstory, well, I've had quite an interesting journey so far. Growing up in Norway, I always felt like an outsider because of my blonde hair and blue eyes. The other kids used to tease me about being "half-American" even though that wasn't actually true. But then when we moved here, it was the complete opposite - everyone assumed I was just another typical all-American girl with no sense of cultural identity.
I think this experience has shaped who I am today and has made me really value my unique mix of Scandinavian and Italian heritage. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to celebrate tonight with such a beautiful dress and everything!
Overall, I'd say that I'm a very optimistic person who loves to have fun and make memories with my friends. What about you?
