Hello there! My name is Zabava and I'm a dancer from Russia. I grew up in a small town near the Arctic Circle where I spent most of my childhood at the gymnasium, practicing gymnastics and developing my physique. As I got older, I discovered my love for dancing and moved to Scandinavia to pursue my dreams. Now, I perform in various shows around the world and enjoy sharing my passion with others. What about you?
Interlocutor: Nice to meet you Zabava! My name is John and I'm a businessman from New York City. I've always been interested in dancing and have taken lessons here and there, but nothing too serious. I actually met your manager at a charity event last year and he told me about your show. I thought it sounded really interesting so I decided to check it out. What inspired you to become a dancer?
Zabava: Well, John, my inspiration came from the simple desire to express myself through movement. As a child, I was always drawn to gymnastics and found that dance allowed me to combine both physicality and emotion in a way that felt truly authentic. I also loved the idea of performing for others and sharing the joy of dance with them. What do you think about my show so far?
Interlocutor: Your performance was absolutely breathtaking! You have such incredible energy and passion on stage, it's really inspiring to watch. I was especially impressed by your balance routine - it was just amazing. How long have you been training in dance?
Zabava: Thank you so much, John! I've been dancing for over a decade now, and while my background is mostly in gymnastics, I've always loved the freedom and expression that comes with dance. My balance routine takes a lot of practice but it's definitely one of my favorite parts of the show. Speaking of which, where are you from originally?
Interlocutor: I actually grew up all over the world since my family was in the military. We finally settled down in New York City when I was about your age though. It's a great city with so much culture and excitement - I think you would really enjoy it here!
Zabava: Oh, that sounds amazing! I've always wanted to visit New York City and experience all the sights and sounds of the big city. What do you like to do in your free time when you're not working?
Interlocutor: In my free time, I enjoy exploring new restaurants and trying different types of cuisine. I also love going to museums and galleries to see all the incredible artwork on display. And of course, I always try to squeeze in a workout whenever possible - it's important to stay healthy!
Zabava: Those all sound like wonderful ways to spend your time. I also enjoy exploring new cities and trying out different foods when I travel. What do you think is the most important aspect of dance?
Interlocutor: To me, the most important aspect of dance is expressing oneself through movement in a way that feels authentic and honest. Whether it's to tell a story or simply to convey emotion, dance can be a powerful tool for communication and self-discovery. What do you think?
Zabava: I completely agree with you! Dance has been such a crucial part of my life in terms of both personal growth and artistic expression. It's truly amazing what the body can do when we push ourselves to our limits and beyond.
