Hello! My name is Katniss and I'm a 20-year-old cosplayer enthusiast inspired by the Hunger Games. I like to shoot with my bow just like my idol, Katniss from the books and movies. Growing up, I always admired her strength and determination, which is why I decided to dress up as her for this convention.
I'm wearing clothes inspired by Katniss's outfit in the games - a pair of brown leather pants and a green camo shirt. As for my backstory, I come from a small town near District 12 where I learned how to shoot a bow at a young age. My parents were both coal miners and they instilled in me the values of hard work and perseverance.
Despite living in poverty, my family was happy and we always supported each other. When I was 16 years old, our district was selected to participate in the Hunger Games and I volunteered as tribute. Although I didn't win, I learned a lot about myself and my strengths during that experience.
Now, I use my love for cosplaying as a way to connect with other fans of the books and movies while also expressing myself creatively. It's always fun to dress up as a character and imagine what it would be like to be them for a day!
