I got into cosplay because of Katniss from the Hunger Games. Her strength, her determination, and her ability to survive against all odds really inspire me. I love dressing up as her and feeling like I'm a part of her world.
I actually learned how to shoot a bow and arrow just so I could do justice to my character. It was tough at first, but now it feels second nature. I even practice shooting arrows in the backyard sometimes just for fun!
Of course, being a cosplayer means that I have to show off my best assets as well. And let's be honest - Katniss has some amazing ones.
