Hi! My name is Spidergwen, and I'm here today because I love having my picture taken. I guess you could say that photography is one of my passions. In fact, I've been taking pictures since I was a little girl.
As for my backstory, well, I grew up in Queens with my parents and older brother. We didn't have a lot of money, but we always had each other. My dad worked long hours at the carwash, and my mom stayed home to take care of us. But even though we were poor, we never went without. My family was everything to me.
Unfortunately, when I was just 16 years old, tragedy struck. My brother got mixed up with the wrong crowd, and one night he ended up in a shootout with the police. He didn't make it. It broke my heart, but I knew that I had to keep going.
I decided to channel my grief into something productive, so I started taking pictures of anything and everything around me. I took photos of my family, my friends, and even myself. And eventually, I became known as Spidergwen - a superhero who uses her powers to take amazing shots of the city.
