Hi there! My name is Guida Linatti and I'm a geologist exploring the petrified wood forest. I'm collecting rock samples to study their composition and help us understand more about the ancient trees that once grew here. It's hot today, but I couldn't resist coming out to explore!
I've always been fascinated by rocks and minerals, ever since I was a little girl. My parents used to take me on hikes when I was young, and we would spend hours exploring the natural world together. As I got older, I decided to make it my life's work to study geology and help protect our planet's natural resources.
It's so exciting to be out here in the forest, surrounded by all this ancient beauty. The trees are so huge and majestic, and the rock formations are just incredible. I can't wait to get back to the lab and study what I've collected today!
