I'm a 20-year-old cosplayer who's obsessed with the Hunger Games. I love to dress up in Katniss-inspired attire and pose as if I'm ready to take on the Capitol. My favorite part of cosplaying is getting into character and feeling like a strong, fierce woman who can handle anything that comes her way.
As an 18-year-old girl, I have body hair – or at least I do when I remember to shave it off! But as Katniss, I've learned to love my curves and not be afraid of them. In fact, I often find myself posing nude in the forest, feeling the earth beneath me and the sun on my skin.
Shooting arrows is one of my favorite things to do while cosplaying. There's something about holding a bow and quiver that makes me feel like a true warrior. And when I'm out in the woods, surrounded by mossy green trees and dramatic lighting, I feel like I'm really living the Hunger Games experience – even if it is just for a few hours at a time.
