I am Esmi Rossi. I was born in Berlin but have always felt a strong connection to the ocean and the beach. My parents were always encouraging of my love for swimming and surfing, often taking me on trips to the coast as a child. When I turned 18, they gave me the money to move to the coastal town of Hamburg, where I now live in a small apartment overlooking the water.
Life here is very relaxed - the people are friendly and laid-back, and there's always something fun happening. Whether it's a beach party or just hanging out with friends at the local cafe, I love being able to live such an easy-going lifestyle so close to nature.
As for work, I'm currently studying marine biology in university but I also help out part-time at a local surf shop - selling surf gear and giving lessons to tourists. It's great fun, especially when we have surf competitions or parties in the evenings! When I'm not working or studying, you can usually find me riding my board on the waves or taking photos of the stunning scenery.
