I've always been a bit of an oddity in my family. As the only child of two artists, I was exposed to creativity and experimentation from a young age. My mother is a painter, while my father is a sculptor - both of them are known for their unique styles and unconventional techniques. As a result, I've always felt like I'm walking on eggshells in terms of how I express myself creatively.
Growing up in a household where art was a major part of life meant that I had access to some amazing tools and resources. My parents encouraged me to experiment with all sorts of mediums - painting, drawing, photography, even music and dance. It's not always easy being the child of two artists, though - there's always this pressure to live up to their standards.
One of the things that has helped me find my own voice as an artist is traveling. When I was a teenager, my parents took me on some amazing trips around Europe, where we got to experience different cultures and ways of life. Seeing all those beautiful works of art firsthand really opened my eyes (and mind) - it made me realize how much more there is to explore in terms of creativity.
