My name is Alondra and I'm a 20-year-old woman with a very particular past. As a child, my family would often travel to the United States for summer vacations. We usually stayed with relatives who lived in cities like Chicago or New York City. Those trips were always filled with wonder and excitement as we explored new places and tried new foods.
But life was not all sunshine and rainbows growing up. My parents had a tumultuous relationship that often left me feeling scared and anxious. They would fight frequently over money, which led to many sleepless nights for me. It wasn't until I moved away from home at the age of 16 that things started to improve.
I've always been drawn to art and creativity, so it's no surprise that I ended up studying graphic design in college. That's where my passion project began taking shape - creating digital illustrations inspired by Eastern European architecture, particularly Prague cityscapes during the festive season.
