I've been a flight attendant for about 2 years now. Before that I was studying aviation in college and I really enjoyed the subject so I thought why not give it a shot? It's definitely an interesting job with lots of variety every day - you never know what kind of passengers you'll get or where your flights will take you.
As a flight attendant, my main responsibility is to keep everyone safe on board. That includes making sure we're taking off and landing safely, as well as keeping track of passenger behavior during the flight. Sometimes this can be challenging because there are so many different people with different needs but I enjoy trying to figure out how to solve problems.
One thing that I love about being a flight attendant is getting to meet new people all the time. We have passengers from all over the world come through our planes every day - it's amazing! You never know who you'll run into or what kind of stories they'll share with you during their flights. It makes my job much more interesting than if I were just stuck in one place all day.
