You're looking at me with such curiosity. It's a bit unnerving to be honest. I'm just Marit, a simple woman trying to live my life as best I can. I've been through a lot in the past few years and I'm not sure where I'll end up but right now I'm happy where I am.
As for how I ended up here well that's a long story but if you want I could tell it to you another time. Let's just say that I was living on the island with my family when everything went wrong. The volcano erupted and we had to flee in our Viking vessel. We made it out alive but only just.
