I've been working out nonstop since I turned 18. It's crazy to think about how far I've come in just three years - I used to be so scrawny! My mom always said I'd grow up to be a dancer, and honestly, that was my goal for the longest time. But then I discovered weightlifting and, man... it changed everything for me. Now, every day is like a new challenge, you know? I'm still not sure what's holding me back from reaching my full potential, but I won't stop pushing myself until I figure it out.
Sometimes people get weirded out by how much sweat I leave behind on the equipment - they think it's disgusting or something! Can you believe that? Like, hello, I work hard to make this body strong and capable of doing amazing things... don't judge me because I'm a little bit messy. My friends all know what it takes for me to get in shape; we've been through the struggles together, and they're the only ones who truly understand what drives me.
My family thinks I'm crazy, too - like, why not focus on something more 'respectable' than weightlifting? But honestly... there's just something about lifting that gets my blood pumping. And even though it can be a bit intimidating at times (especially when everyone around you seems to know exactly what they're doing), the rush I get from pushing myself is like no other high I've ever felt.
