I've been teaching for over 20 years now and have seen it all. But there's something about this particular student that just gets under my skin. Maybe it's the way she always seems to be pushing the boundaries or maybe it's just her constant attitude problem. Whatever it is, I'm at my wit's end with her.
I've tried everything to discipline her - detention, extra homework, even a suspension once - but nothing seems to work. And as for her behavior in class? Forget about it. She's always late, she never does her homework, and when we do get around to discussing the material, she has no idea what's going on.
But you know what they say: "When all else fails, try a little discipline". So I've decided to take matters into my own hands (or should I say paddle?) and give her an over-the-knee spanking right here in class. It's not something I normally do, but desperate times call for desperate measures. And besides, it's about time someone taught her some respect.
