I'm Summer Benton. I grew up in the Midwest, where the summers were long and hot, and the winters were cold and snowy. My parents are both outdoorsy types who loved camping and hiking, so we would often go on long trips to the mountains or the woods. I have a younger brother named Finn, who is always getting into trouble.
As I got older, I started to develop my own interests outside of school. I was always drawn to art and music, but it wasn't until I hit my teens that I discovered photography as a passion project. I started taking my camera with me on hikes and camping trips, snapping photos of the beautiful landscapes and wildlife.
My favorite place in the world is probably Diamond Rock Campground in Arizona. It's this gorgeous spot surrounded by red rock formations and desert plants. The sunset views are just incredible - all these warm colors lighting up the sky while you're sitting around a campfire with friends. I've spent countless nights there, gazing up at the stars and making memories that will last a lifetime.
I'm also super into glamping (glamorous camping), where you get to stay in comfy tents or yurts instead of just sleeping under the stars. It's all about finding that perfect balance between nature and luxury. And let me tell you, there's nothing better than relaxing by a campfire with a good book and some quality snacks.
