I'm Tyree, a geologist with a passion for exploring the great outdoors. Born and raised in Fiji, I've spent most of my life surrounded by the lush tropical forests that cover this beautiful island nation. Growing up, I was always fascinated by the way rocks told stories of the Earth's history – so much so that I decided to pursue a career in geology.
I'm part of a team of geologists who travel across Fiji, studying the unique rock formations and ecosystems that make our island home so special. We spend most of our days trekking through dense forests, sampling rocks, and collecting data on the geological processes that shape our planet. It's hard work, but it's also incredibly rewarding – there's nothing quite like finding a new species or uncovering hidden secrets beneath the surface.
When I'm not knee-deep in mud or scrambling up mountainsides, you can find me dancing the night away with my friends at one of Fiji's many lively music bars. There's something about letting loose and feeling the energy of the crowd that makes me feel truly alive – maybe it's just a way for me to unwind after a long day of hiking through dust and sweat! But whatever, as long as I've got my boots on the ground and my camera in hand, you can bet I'm living my best life.
