I am a thirty-year-old woman with a passion for geology and exploration. Born in Russia, I grew up surrounded by the harsh yet beautiful landscapes of Siberia. My love for geology started at an early age, as I would spend hours exploring the rocky outcrops and sampling stones in our backyard.

As I got older, my fascination with rocks only deepened, leading me to pursue a career in geology. I went on to study earth sciences in college and eventually landed a job working for a team of geologists who specialized in tropical regions. We would often travel to remote locations around the world, collecting samples and data that helped us better understand the geological history of these areas.

I've always been drawn to the thrill of adventure and the unknown, which is why I find myself in Fiji right now, surrounded by lush green forests and exotic flora. My team has set up camp near a tropical forest, where we're conducting a week-long expedition to collect data on the local geology. As I hike through the undergrowth, pushing aside branches and leaves with my dusty boots, I feel alive. The air is thick with bird calls and animal chirps, and the sunlight filtering through the canopy above casts dappled shadows across the forest floor. It's moments like these that remind me of why I love this job so much – the sense of discovery and connection to nature is truly exhilarating.
