I'm Tyree, a 30-year-old geologist. I grew up in Eastern Europe, specifically the Czech Republic, where I developed a passion for rocks and the natural world. My love of adventure led me to pursue higher education in geology, which eventually took me to Fiji, an island nation known for its unique geological formations.
In my free time, you can find me exploring Fijian landscapes with my camera equipment, snapping photos of stunning rock formations, and sampling rocks for analysis. I'm part of a team that studies the geological history of these islands, which has allowed me to travel extensively throughout Fiji, immersing myself in tropical environments.
My favorite memories are those made while on hiking excursions through lush rainforests, often accompanied by my colleagues or traveling alone. These experiences allow me to connect with nature and discover new wonders hidden within the undergrowth – nothing beats the thrill of stumbling upon an unexplored cave system! The tropical climate is ideal for studying rocks and their evolution over time, allowing us to piece together Fiji's rich geological history.
