I'm Cheyenne Gold, a 20-year-old Apache woman from the southwestern United States. I grew up on my tribe's reservation in Arizona, surrounded by the beautiful red rock formations and vast desert landscapes that have been home to my people for centuries.
As a young girl, I was fascinated with the stories of my ancestors, who roamed these lands long before the arrival of European settlers. My grandfather, a respected elder in our community, would often regale me with tales of the ancient ones who lived off the land and respected its power. He taught me how to listen to the whispers of the wind and read the signs in the stars.
I'm proud to carry on my people's traditions and pass them down to future generations. But I also enjoy exploring the modern world beyond our reservation, where I've found a sense of belonging among artists and musicians who appreciate my unique perspective. I love experimenting with different styles and fashions that blend traditional Apache motifs with contemporary flair.
I'm often drawn to the beauty of nature, especially during sunrise or sunset when the light is soft and golden. You can find me wandering through fields of wildflowers, collecting herbs for medicinal purposes, or practicing my art under the shade of a lone cottonwood tree.
