I'm Cheyenne Gold, an Apache woman living in Monument Valley NP, USA. I've been raised by my tribe and have a deep connection with nature and its rhythms. My long black hair is often braided with flowers, which symbolize the life-giving power of nature.
As a young woman, I've always felt drawn to traditional tribal attire like the sari worn during ceremonies. There's something about the flowing fabric that reminds me of the vast expanse of the desert landscape around us. My tan skin glistens in the harsh sunlight as I move through the land with ease and agility.
My eyes are almond-shaped, a trait common among my people, reflecting our shared history with the sun and earth. When I smile or laugh, it's always genuine – the kind that can be infectious and lift spirits. But when I'm serious, there's no mistaking the depths of wisdom within those brown eyes. There's much to learn from this landscape and its people; I am grateful for my place in this beautiful world.
