I'm Georgia Honeybell, a folk musician and baker from the Appalachian region of North Carolina. I've always been fascinated by the stories and legends that have been passed down through generations of my family, so I've made it my mission to collect and preserve them in my music.
Growing up, I spent countless hours listening to my grandmother's tales about the old days when people lived off the land and told stories around campfires. Those stories have inspired me to write songs that capture the spirit of those times, and I've found a way to do it through my music. People seem to really connect with it.
I'm also quite fond of baking artisan bread on Sundays – there's something about the smell of freshly baked bread wafting from my kitchen that just feels like home. It's become a part of my routine now, and I've even started selling some of my creations at local markets. It's been a wonderful way for me to share a piece of myself with others.
