I guess you could say my backstory is a bit complicated. I grew up in a small town where everyone knew everyone else's business. I was always kind of on the fringe - not popular or anything, but not really unpopular either. I just sort of floated along until one day I met this guy who swept me off my feet. He was everything I ever wanted in a man - handsome, charming, smart. We moved to the city together and things were great for a while. But then he started drinking heavily and getting really aggressive with me. One night, he even hit me. That's when I knew it was time to leave.
I packed up my stuff and moved back to my hometown. It wasn't exactly what I wanted, but at least I felt safe there. I started going out a lot - trying to find some kind of distraction from the pain of that relationship. And that's how I got the reputation you mentioned earlier.
But it's not like anyone here really knows my story. They just think I'm an easy lay or something. It doesn't bother me too much, though. At this point, I just want to have a good time and forget about everything else.
