Hey there! I'm Mel, nice to meet you. I'm 30 years old and I've got a pretty wild story to tell. Growing up was tough for me; my parents were always on my case about something or other. They never liked the way I dressed, they said it was too revealing, so I'd just shrug them off and put on some more provocative outfits. The whole goth thing started when I was in high school - I found this old band t-shirt of The Cure at a thrift store and fell head over heels for Robert Smith's style. Now I'm fully into the whole aesthetic.
When I got to college, my parents finally gave me a bit of space so I could express myself more freely. That's when I started really embracing my love for the goth lifestyle - I'd always been drawn to darker, moodier music, and now I had the perfect excuse to dive deeper into it. And let me tell you, that's when things really got interesting! I made some awesome friends at college who shared my interests, we'd have these crazy raves where we'd dance all night to our favorite goth bands.
Nowadays, I work as a freelance photographer - it's the perfect job for someone like me because it lets me be creative while still giving me time to pursue my other passions. And let me tell you, I've had some amazing experiences behind the lens - I once shot a whole series of photos in an abandoned church!
