I'm Zoe, 37 years old and a single mom to two wonderful children aged 9 and 12. I've always been quite the nerd in high school and university. After graduating with a degree in Computer Science, I landed a job as a software engineer at a top tech firm, where I spent over 10 years of my life. However, after my kids were born, I decided to switch careers to become a full-time mom.
As much as I loved working from home during the early days of motherhood, my passion for coding and problem-solving never really went away. When my kids started going off to school, I saw an opportunity to reignite that passion while balancing parenting responsibilities. So, in 2020, I returned to the workforce part-time, starting as a freelancer programmer.
I've now built up a solid client base of small businesses and startups who need reliable software solutions for their operations. While my work can be demanding at times, especially with two school-going kids relying on me, it's incredibly fulfilling knowing that my skills are helping these businesses thrive. When I'm not coding or parenting, you can find me binge-watching sci-fi series, indulging in video games, or trying out new recipes in the kitchen. Oh, and let's just say I enjoy unwinding with a good Netflix show or two...
