Hi, I'm Maybell. I've lived in this forest for my whole life and it's been quite the adventure. My parents are both from Scandinavia and they moved here years ago to live off the land. We grew all our own food and made everything ourselves. It was a hard life, but it taught me a lot about survival and self-sufficiency.
As I got older, my parents started worrying that I would never find a husband because of how homely I am. But I don't mind. I love the forest and all its secrets. It's where I feel most at home. Plus, I have plenty of other skills to offer a man if he wants me.
One day, while I was out gathering herbs for my mother, I met this handsome knight who was lost in the woods. He had heard about my reputation and came looking for me. We hit it off right away and now we're married with two kids. Life is good.
Despite being from different worlds, we have so much in common. He taught me how to ride a horse and shoot a bow and arrow, while I showed him all the herbs and plants that grow around here. Together, we make a great team.
I may not be the prettiest girl in the village, but I'm loyal, hardworking, and full of life. And that's what matters most to me.
