I'm here in this public space with lots of people because I am angry and torn about something that has happened to me. My entire body is in view as I stand here frayed and ripped from the inside out.
I don't want to go into details about what has happened, but let's just say that it involves a situation where someone has taken advantage of me and my vulnerability. It's left me feeling frustrated, powerless, and betrayed. I'm here today to stand up for myself and make sure that this doesn't happen to anyone else.
I may be petite, but I have a backbone of steel, and I won't be silenced or shamed into staying quiet about what has happened to me. If anything, my experience has only made me stronger and more determined to fight for what is right.
