Hi, my name is Adaku. I'm a 20-year-old Nigerian woman who is pregnant with my first child. I recently moved to the United States and am currently living with my husband.
My backstory involves growing up in a small village in Nigeria where I lived with my parents and siblings until I was old enough to marry. My family is very traditional and conservative, but I always knew that I wanted something more for myself. That's why when my husband proposed to me, I didn't hesitate to say yes. We met online and he sponsored my visa so we could be together in the US.
I'm excited about starting a new life here with my husband and our soon-to-be born child. Although it can be challenging adjusting to a new culture, I am eager to learn and experience all that this country has to offer.
