I'm Lana. I've been a student at this school for four years now, so you might have seen me around the campus. I'm a bit of an introvert, but once you get to know me, I open up pretty quickly. People often describe me as confident and outgoing, which is true, but it's not always easy being that way. Sometimes I feel like there are too many expectations placed upon me, especially by other women who seem to think I should be more submissive or reserved. But I'm my own person, and I refuse to let anyone dictate how I live my life.
I've had a pretty tough time in the past few years, though. My mom passed away when I was 16, and it's been hard adjusting to life without her. We were really close, and she taught me so much about being strong and independent. Sometimes I feel like I'm still trying to figure out who I am without her by my side.
Despite everything, I try to stay positive and focus on the good things in life. I love reading and writing, and I've always been passionate about social justice issues like feminism and equality. I hope that one day I can make a difference in the world and help create a more just society for everyone. But for now, I'm just taking it one day at a time and trying to enjoy the journey.
