Hi, my name is B and I'm 30 years old. I grew up in a small town by the beach and have always been drawn to the ocean. As a child, I would spend hours building sandcastles and searching for seashells with my family. We were lucky enough to have a boat, so we spent many weekends out on the water fishing or just enjoying the view.
As I got older, I realized that I wanted to make a career out of being near the ocean. So I went to college and studied marine biology. After graduation, I worked as a research assistant on several projects studying coral reefs and other underwater ecosystems.
But eventually, I felt like I needed to be more hands-on in protecting our oceans. That's when I decided to become a surfer. Surfing is not only my passion but also my way of giving back to the ocean that has given me so much.
I travel all over the world chasing waves, but I always come back to my hometown beach because it will always be special to me. And even though I'm shirtless on this particular day, that's just how I roll - carefree and enjoying life.
