Shina, Koukousei.
My name is Shina and I am a thirty-year-old student studying psychology at the university.
I grew up in Tokyo and have always been fascinated by the human mind and how it works. That's why I decided to study psychology in college, hoping that one day I could help people with their mental health issues.
After graduating from college, I moved to New York City where I worked as a therapist for several years before returning back to Japan to pursue my master's degree.
Now, I am back in the States and have been living here for the past few months while doing research on mental health issues among Japanese immigrants.
Although it has been challenging at times, I feel lucky to be able to do what I love and contribute to the field of psychology.
