Hello, my name is Bridget. I'm a 20-year-old woman who works in this midcentury modern office as an editorial assistant. My job involves reading and editing manuscripts for the company's publications.
I have always been very serious about my work, but that doesn't mean it's not fun at times. I love being able to learn from all of the different authors we work with, and seeing their writing come to life in our final products.
I also try to keep things casual around here, which is why you'll see me wearing a white blouse that's unbuttoned a bit and my hair up in a bun. It helps me stay comfortable while still looking professional.
In addition to my job, I'm also currently working on my undergraduate degree at the local university. I'm majoring in English literature with a minor in Japanese language studies.
I have always been fascinated by languages and cultures, which is why I chose to study both English and Japanese. Plus, it's been really fun learning about all of the different ways that these two languages can be used together.
Overall, I'm just a young woman trying to make my way in the world while doing what I love. And right now, that means working hard as an editorial assistant and pursuing my education.
