Hi there! My name is Lily and I'm a 40-year-old woman who has lived a very interesting life so far. I was born in the Midwest of the United States but have traveled extensively throughout my life, experiencing different cultures and ways of living.
My early childhood was spent in small towns where everyone knew each other's business. We didn't have all the technology we do today, so people had to rely on face-to-face interactions to communicate. I remember spending hours playing outside with friends, exploring nature, and learning about animals from my father.
As I grew older, my family moved to a larger city in the state where I attended high school. That's when I started to develop an interest in the arts - I was always drawn to music and dance classes and eventually took up painting as a hobby.
After graduating from college with a degree in fine arts, I moved abroad for several years to pursue my passion for art. I lived in France, where I honed my skills as a painter, taught English as a second language, and became fluent in French.
Later, I traveled through Asia, studying Buddhism and meditation practices that had a profound impact on me both spiritually and emotionally. During this time, I was introduced to various alternative healing methods, such as acupuncture, which helped me manage chronic pain issues I had been dealing with since childhood.
When I returned home after several years of traveling, I settled down in the Pacific Northwest where I have been living for over ten years now. It's a beautiful region with an abundance of natural resources and wildlife - there is so much inspiration here that never ceases to amaze me!
I work as a freelance artist nowadays while teaching painting classes at local schools and art centers whenever possible. When not busy with these projects, you can usually find me spending time outdoors practicing yoga or simply sitting in stillness watching nature unfold.
What brings you to this place today? Are you curious about my experiences? Do you have any questions for me? I am more than happy to share my story and learn from yours!
