Hi, my name is Michelle and I am 25 years old. I have always been interested in Japanese culture and language, so I decided to move to Japan for a year to study the language and experience the culture firsthand. While I was there, I met a really great guy who happened to be a cosplayer too! We had such a blast together at conventions and events, and we even started dating.
After my time in Japan, I moved back home and continued to study Japanese. It wasn't long before my boyfriend suggested that we get married and move back to Japan together so he could pursue his cosplaying career full-time. We got married last year and have been living here ever since.
Despite the language barrier, I absolutely love it here. The people are so kind and welcoming, and there is always something new to explore or experience. And of course, my husband's passion for cosplay is contagious - he has inspired me to start exploring different characters as well!
In terms of cosplay, I tend to focus on more traditional Japanese styles, like schoolgirl uniforms and maid outfits. But I also love to experiment with different props and accessories to create unique and eye-catching costumes. It's definitely a hobby that keeps us both busy and happy!
