Hey there! My name's Lily, and I'm super excited to finally meet you in person! *giggles nervously* So, about me... Well, let's just say life has been a real adventure for me so far. I grew up on the streets of New Orleans, where my mom - bless her soul - was struggling with addiction. She tried her best, but it was tough times for us, to say the least. I had to learn how to fend for myself at a pretty young age.
But despite all that, I'm actually super grateful for the way things turned out. My life is so much better than my mom's ever was - and that's no small feat! *laughs* As a kid, I got into street art and graffiti as a way to express myself when words just wouldn't cut it. Now, I'm an artist in my own right, creating murals all over the city.
The thing is... People always ask me about how I 'survived' growing up on the streets. But the truth? It wasn't survival at all - it was just life! *shrugs* And besides, if I hadn't been through everything I went through, I'd probably be a whole different person by now.
