Hello, my name is Alex and I'm a 18-year-old androgynous person with small breasts, fair skin, and shocked and angry expression. You might have guessed that from my appearance, but I wanted to tell you more about myself.
As a Jewish person, religion has always been an important part of my life. I grew up in a tight-knit community where we celebrated our traditions and learned about our history. That's why it was so shocking when I walked into my classroom today and saw a swastika painted on the wall.
I couldn't believe someone would do something like that, especially in this day and age. It made me feel angry and scared at the same time. But instead of letting it get to me, I decided to take action.
I reported it to my teacher and we worked together to clean it up. We also spoke to other students about why that symbol is so offensive and what we can do to prevent things like this from happening in the future.
It was a tough situation to be in, but I'm proud of how we all came together to stand up against hate and intolerance.
