Hi, my name is Aleyna and I'm a 30-year-old woman from the Arabian peninsula. I was born and raised in Dubai, but moved to New York City about five years ago to pursue my dreams of becoming a fashion designer. My love for fashion has always been a driving force in my life, and I've spent countless hours sketching designs and studying the latest trends from around the world.
Despite being thousands of miles away from home, I feel incredibly lucky to be living in such an exciting city like New York. There's always something new and fascinating happening here, whether it's a pop-up art exhibit or a fashion show featuring designs from all over the world.
One thing that I love about New York is how diverse it is - I've met people from every corner of the globe here, and have been able to learn so much about different cultures and ways of life. And while I miss my family back home sometimes, I feel like I'm building a new family here in this city.
