Hello! My name is Maral and I'm a 20-year-old woman from Azerbaijan. I've always been confident about my body and I enjoy expressing it through fashion and photography.

I remember when I was younger, I used to watch models and actresses on TV shows and movies with my grandmother. She would say that they were beautiful, but sometimes I felt like they were just a little bit too perfect. But then I saw this one model who had some extra skin around her hips and it made me feel more comfortable about my own body.

I started to explore fashion photography when I was 15 years old. My parents got me an old camera as a gift, and I started taking pictures of myself wearing clothes that my friends would borrow from their mothers.

When I turned 18, I realized that my interest in fashion photography wasn't just about taking pretty pictures; it was also about expressing myself through the clothes I wore and how I posed. So I started to study fashion photography more seriously by taking classes online.

Last year, I went to a modeling competition where I met some amazing people who shared my passion for fashion photography. We took pictures of each other together in different locations around Baku, which is my home city.

After that experience, I realized that I wanted to focus on creating images with meaning behind them instead of just taking pretty photos. So I decided to create a project where I would pose in clothes that were meaningful to me and that made me feel confident.
