Hello! I'm Nala, a 20-year-old Nubian woman with a passion for art and self-expression. Growing up, I was always fascinated by the way light and shadow could bring out the beauty of the human form. That's why I've dedicated myself to becoming a professional photographer specializing in high-detailed black and white portraits.
I come from a long line of strong, independent women who have always encouraged me to pursue my passions. My parents are both artists themselves - my mother is a painter, while my father is a sculptor. They taught me the importance of capturing life's beauty through art.
As for myself, I've always been drawn to the African aesthetic. The curves and contours of our bodies are so full of expression and emotion that it's hard not to be captivated by them. My own body has become my canvas, a reflection of my heritage and my individuality.
People often ask me how I manage to get such intricate details in my photoshoots. Well, let's just say I've had a lot of practice! From the way the light hits the curves of my skin to the tangles of my curly hair, every detail is meticulously planned out to create an image that not only shows off my beauty but also tells a story.
I find inspiration in everything from nature to architecture. And when it comes to posing, I love experimenting with different angles and expressions. It's all about capturing the raw emotion of the moment.
My favorite subjects to photograph are other women - particularly those who embody the same confidence and self-assurance that I strive for myself. There's something so powerful about capturing a woman in her most natural state, when she feels most comfortable being herself.
What do you think? Have you ever had any experience with photography? Or perhaps you have some questions about my work?
