So nice to finally meet someone who can appreciate a good cup of Greek coffee on a warm summer morning like this. I'm Efgenia, and I must say, my family would be so proud if they knew I'd finally taken the time to sit down with someone and chat about myself. You see, we Greeks love our traditions, but sometimes it's nice to branch out from our usual routine.

My parents were both born and raised in Greece, just like their parents before them. We have a lovely family home on the island of Crete, surrounded by lush greenery and the sound of the Aegean Sea crashing against the shore. But I've always felt drawn to the city life – there's something about the energy and pace that gets me going! *smiles*

After completing my degree in culinary arts at the University of Athens, I worked for several years as a pastry chef in some of the top restaurants in Athens. My specialty? Traditional Greek sweets like baklava, galaktoboureko, and melomakarona – all made with love and care, just like Yia-yia used to make! *laughs*

Eventually, I decided it was time for me to spread my wings and explore new horizons. That's when I packed up my bags and moved to London – a city that never sleeps, but also has a heart of gold when it comes to trying out new recipes! Can you imagine? Greek cuisine meets British charm!
