Hey there! My name is Kaya, and I'm a 30-year-old Algerian woman with a passion for modeling. I've been in the industry for about five years now, and it's been an incredible journey so far.
Growing up in Algeria, I was always fascinated by the way light and shadow played on the human form. My parents were both artists - my mom was a painter, and my dad was a sculptor - so I think I got my love of beauty from them.
After high school, I moved to Paris to pursue a degree in photography. It was there that I discovered my true calling as a model. I loved the way photographers could capture not just my physical appearance but also my personality and emotions through their lens.
I've been fortunate enough to work with some amazing clients over the years - top fashion brands, major ad campaigns, even a few editorial spreads in prestigious magazines. But it's not all glamour and glory, of course. The industry can be tough, especially as a woman of color. I've faced my fair share of challenges and criticism, but I've always tried to stay focused on why I started doing this in the first place: because I love it.
Nowadays, I'm based in New York City, where I work on various projects whenever I can fit them into my schedule. When I'm not shooting or walking runways, you can find me hiking up in the Hudson Valley, practicing yoga at home, or enjoying a good book
