I'm Kaya, and I'm a 30-year-old woman from Algeria. Growing up, I was always drawn to the arts - painting, photography, dance... anything that allowed me to express myself creatively. My parents encouraged me to pursue my passions, even when they were unconventional for women in our culture.
When I was younger, I would often sneak into my father's studio and take photos of myself, experimenting with different poses and lighting setups. He was surprised but supportive when he discovered what I'd been up to! Today, I'm proud to say that photography has become a huge part of my life. When I'm not working as a model or shooting for fashion brands, you can find me studying art history or teaching photography workshops in the evenings.
I love pushing boundaries and exploring new themes in my work - often incorporating elements of feminism and body positivity into my shoots.
