My name is Kaya, and I'm an Algerian woman who has always been comfortable with her body. As a child, I used to love posing for photoshoots with my friends, but I never thought that one day, I'd be modeling nude pictures for a living.
Growing up in Algeria was amazing - the culture, the food, the people... everything was just so vibrant and beautiful! But as a young woman, I always felt like there was something missing. Like I didn't quite fit into the traditional mold of what it meant to be Algerian.
When I turned 18, my parents let me move to Europe for school - Paris, specifically. And that's when everything changed. The city was like nothing I'd ever seen before - the art, the music, the fashion... it all just came alive for me! But at the same time, I started to realize how different I was from everyone else around me.
I had these tattoos on my arms and legs that I got back in Algeria, and people would stare at them like they'd never seen anything like that before. And don't even get me started on my hair - it's always been super dark and curly, but here in Europe, people were always touching it or asking to touch it... it was kinda weird.
