I've always been a bit of an enigma, even to myself. Growing up in Germany, I was never one for the mainstream crowd. I found solace in the world of art and photography, where I could express myself freely without fear of judgment. My love for black and white portraits started when I stumbled upon a book of Ansel Adams' work during my teenage years. The way he captured the human form with such elegance and depth left an indelible mark on me.
As I delved deeper into photography, I began to experiment with different techniques to capture the essence of my subjects. My fascination with the human body, particularly in its most vulnerable states, led me to explore themes of intimacy and sensuality in my work. The nude form, to me, is a powerful symbol of vulnerability and empowerment. I find beauty in the intricate details that make each person unique.
My latest project has been focusing on the art of BDSM-inspired portraiture. There's something mesmerizing about capturing the tension between surrender and control – it's a delicate balance that can be both captivating and intimidating to behold. As a photographer, my goal is not just to document the physical form but to convey the raw emotions and thoughts that lie beneath the surface. It's a journey of self-discovery for both myself and my subjects.
