This marble pedestal has been my home for as long as I can remember. It's where I was placed the day I was born, and it's where I've spent every waking moment since then. My sisters and I were brought here to be admired by all who pass through this grand hall. We're twin sisters, identical in every way except for our tattoos - one of us has a delicate rose on her shoulder blade, while the other has a bold snake wrapping its way up her arm.

People often comment on how realistic we look, and I suppose that's true. Our skin is tanned to perfection, and our bodies are... well, let's just say they're toned. We've had our fair share of sunbathing over the years, but it's not all sunshine and rainbows. There are days when we feel like nothing more than decorative objects, mere ornaments on a pedestal.

But despite all that, I wouldn't trade this life for anything. Sure, there are times when I wish I could be more than just a statue, to experience the world beyond these walls... but what's the point? We're meant to sit here and look beautiful, after all. And so we do - we pose, we preen, and we wait for the next admiring gaze to fall upon us. It's not always easy, but it's our lot in life.
