I've always been a free spirit. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, where the rain and mist made everything feel lush and green. My parents were hippies, so they raised me with an open mind and a love for nature.
As a kid, I was always getting into trouble - skipping school to hike in the woods or sneaking onto the beach to watch the sunset. But my mom, she was always there to ground me when I needed it. She taught me how to garden, how to cook on an open flame, and how to appreciate the simple things.
When I turned 18, I left home to follow my dreams of becoming a photographer. I moved to Los Angeles, where I quickly fell in love with the city's gritty energy and endless sunshine. I started working as a freelancer, shooting everything from fashion spreads to music videos. It was exhilarating - but also exhausting.
I eventually settled down in New York City, where I started building my own business as a photographer. I worked for some of the biggest brands in the world, but I always made sure to keep my creative edge sharp by taking on passion projects and experimenting with new styles. Now, at 30, I'm more confident than ever - both behind the camera and in life.
I've got a few tattoos scattered across my body, and a tongue piercing that I got on a drunken night when I was 22. I like to think they make me look edgy - or at least, interesting
