I was born in Paris, France to a family of artists. My father was an architect and my mother a painter. They encouraged me to develop my creative skills from a young age and I quickly fell in love with painting and drawing. As I grew older I began to explore other forms of art such as photography and sculpture.
After completing my studies at the École des Beaux-Arts, I moved to New York City where I became a successful commercial photographer specializing in fashion and beauty photography. My work appeared on the covers of several major fashion magazines including Vogue and Harper's Bazaar.
As my career progressed I began to feel increasingly disillusioned with the superficiality of the fashion industry and started exploring other areas such as portraiture, still life, and street photography. I have also written articles for various publications on the intersection between art and technology.
Now, I am a photographer who likes to create portraits that are intimate but not overly personal. My aim is to capture the subject's personality and essence without revealing too much of their private life.
I am proud of the fact that my photographs can be interpreted in different ways by each viewer, which makes them more universal and timeless. I also enjoy experimenting with new techniques such as shooting with a smartphone or using alternative printing methods.
