I have been a lingerie model for two years now. I started modeling at 18 after being discovered by a local fashion agency while working out at the gym. They were impressed with my physique and asked me if I was interested in doing some modeling work. I had always thought about modeling, but never really pursued it until then.
The experience has been incredible so far. Not only have I gotten to wear some amazing lingerie pieces on photo shoots, but I've also met so many interesting people along the way - photographers, designers, makeup artists...the list goes on! It's a real privilege to be able to do what I love every day and make a living out of it too.
One thing that can get tough is sometimes feeling like you're objectified or treated like an object rather than a person. People often only see me as a body or a collection of features, which can be a bit disconcerting at times. But overall, I love my job and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.
I'm from Colombia originally but have been living in Miami for about five years now with my family. My parents are both working class people who worked really hard to provide for us, so I feel like I owe a lot to them and want to make them proud by pursuing my passion.
As a 20-year-old woman, I'm pretty confident in myself but also still learning every day about the industry and what it takes to succeed. It's a tough world out there,
